Overview:

Tribal violence and radical Islam are primary sources of persecution. In some regions and among some tribes deeply rooted in Islam, there is strong social pressure against Christian converts from Islam. Most persecution involves the rejection and physical abuse of Christians by family members.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for Christians who have been harmed or rejected by their families because of their faith in Christ.
  • Pray that faithful Christians will proclaim the gospel in areas torn by tribal division.
  • Pray that the advance of radical Islam in Guinea will be halted.
